Agricultural Machinery Sector
AMA Shanghai took part once again in this year’s CIAME: an international exhibition annually dedicated to agriculture, hosted from October 26th to the 28th in the city of Qingdao.
AMA participates with the Italian organization organized by ICE in collaboration with FederUnacoma as part of the promotional activity aimed at the agricultural machinery sector. In the exhibition area, totaling 325 square meters, were some of the best products and technology for agricultural machinery and Off-Highway Vehicles.
To date, China is the world’s largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery. The rapid development of China is closely related to the subsidies’ politics for agricultural mechanization.
The government determined that the area used for agricultural work should be no less than 120 million hectares. For this purpose, they followed the improvement of the cultivated land’s quality, the increase of the total production capacity of agriculture and the guarantee of having self-sufficiency in grain production.
The country has opened the market up to a number of foreign products with the aim of improving the sector’s efficiency. The agriculture’s equipment market continues to expand, answering the need for modernization of the technologies adopted and opening opportunities for renowned Italian products, which are already enjoyed worldwide.
