AMA is participating in NAMPO 2015, the largest agricultural exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere

Agricultural Machinery Sector;

AMA group is showing at NAMPO 2015 from May 12th to May 15th in Bothaville, together with the Italian group organized by ICE and FederUnacoma, as part of the promotional activity dedicated to the agricultural machinery sector.

Nampo is the largest agricultural machinery exhibition in the southern hemisphere. Each year it attracts around 70,000 people of the sector from all over the world and more than 600 exhibitors spread over 24 acres.

There is a wide range of Components and soil working equipment at AMA’s display booth (plow bodies, springs, discs), Seats, Spare Parts and accessories for Off-Highway Vehicles (PTO shafts, mechanical three-point linkages, hydraulics and hitches).

The goal is to foster a knowledge of Italian agricultural technology by African operators and to understand the local industries’ needs in order to support a modernization and development process, as well as the commercial integration of our country’s mechanics.

The African continent is a growing market of great interest for Italian companies. 13.7 % of the land is considered arable land devoted to agriculture. The agricultural sector’s worth is between 2-3% of the country’s GDP with variations related to rainfall. There are approximately 6,000,000 employees in the sector.
