AMA group continues to grow: Seat Plastic acquires Meccanoplas business unit and trademark

Seat Plastic S.r.l of Reggio Emilia – a company belonging to the Italian group AMA S.p.A. – announces that it has finalized the acquisition of the business unit and brand of Meccanoplast, an Italian company specializing in the field of plastic molding and distribution of plastic materials in Reggio Emilia.
The agreement has been reached between SEAT PLASTIC Srl and MMX Srl, a company based in Reggio Emilia.
An important investment to differentiate and increase competitiveness in the market. An added value to the AMA group, leader in the supply of components for the fitting out and maintenance of Off Highway Vehicles (OHV).

Meccanoplast, founded in 1974, has developed experience in the field of plastic molding and in the creation of molds. The use of the most sophisticated design equipment and the know-how of expert technicians and operators, has allowed the company to offer articles of high technological value: counter caps for cardan shafts and sheaths for power take-offs, seed drill kits, conductive tubes and document holders
