Technology and Innovation at Bauma 2016

Bauma 2016

Published on 2 April 2016

From April 11th to the 17th, AMA Company will be renewing their presence at the 31st edition of BAUMA in Munich, the international trade show for construction machinery and equipment, mining machinery and construction vehicles.

AMA will display its best technology and solutions regarding interior cabins for Off-Highway Vehicles at stand number 403, Hall A6. The exhibition is entirely focused on the Cabin Business Unit: columns and steering columns, analog and digital instrumentation, interior paneling and coverings, electric and electronic components, seats and steering wheels, complete cabins, hydraulic cylinders and components.

The use of technology has been elevated this year – thanks to mobile and LED walls – to grant a more interactive and comprehensive visit.

The spotlight will be focused on the latest products:

CL 7000 COLUMN STEERING GROUP
Adjustable steering column with connection for hydraulic power steering and wiring loom. It’s equipped with tilt adjustment and telescopic height adjustment of 60 mm and covered by ABS plastic or soft touch. Instrumentation, electric components and colours can be customized per customer request.

MOXI 10 COLUMN STEERING GROUP
Column steering group with tilt adjustment with variable start point and telescopic adjustment with 80 mm travel. Both adjustments are operated by the same hand lever or by cable. The housing are made of die casting aluminum.

PLUG & PLAY CABIN
The customized cabin is efficient, functional, made quickly and at an affordable price. The “Complete Cabin” project is a collaboration between AMA and LOCHMANN Group, a well-known Italian cabin manufacturer. From Project to complete equipment: painted cabin’s metal structure, glasses and smaller parts, plastic paneling, interior components, ALL in ONE.

AMA INSTRUMENTS
The AMA Instruments Division will present an innovative and centralized system for local communication and data sharing coming from machines and vehicles’ sensors that use the transmission of radio waves, thus replacing the traditional “wire.” Intelligent sensors and control units guarantee significant advantages compared to conventional systems to detect, share, and protect information.

Even in 2013, the exhibition ranked as one of the largest fairs in the world for the industrial sector: 75,000 square meters of exhibition space, 3.421 exhibitors and 535.065 visitors from more than 200 countries.
