Like in the previous years, AMA has confirmed its presence at Agrishow 2016, which is the 23rd edition of the international trade show that is dedicated to agricultural technology. It will be held in Ribeirão Preto (Brazil) from April 25th to the 29th. AMA is participating with the Italian organization organized by ICE in collaboration with FederUnacoma as part of the promotional activity aimed at the agricultural machinery sector.
It will feature 440,000 square meters of an outdoor exhibition area with a specific area dedicated to the demonstrating field tests. This exhibition for professionals, companies and farmers will host 800 brands and 160,000 trade visitors from 70 different countries; Agrishow continues to be the center of successful Brazilian agribusiness.
AMA continues to have a strong presence on the Brazilian market because it has greatly expanded its roots, and it has upheld its steady presence in the area, which is important for Italy and the sector.
The greater use of agricultural machines has contributed to an increase in the country’s productivity along with an increase in speed in creating and expanding agricultural land. Despite the overall imports of Brazilian agricultural machinery having dropped 18.4% in 2014, reaching a total of 396.6 million Euros, exports from our country have gone up 3.8% simultaneously with a decrease in sales from our major competitors such as the US -24.4%, Germany -1.9% and China -5.6%.
